On Friday September 3 at 4:00 PM, leaders and team members from Coalfield along with representatives from the town of Fort Gay, Housing Authority of Wayne County, Wayne County Economic Development Authority and the Wayne County Community Services Organization will gather to celebrate the official start of the old High School’s renovation.

The National Endowment for the Arts has approved Coalfield Development, in partnership with the City of Huntington, for a grant in the amount of $100,000 through the Our Town Program.

Today, our CEO Brandon Dennison participated as a witness in a Congressional Committee hearing titled Jumpstarting Main Street: Bringing Jobs & Wealth Back to Forgotten America.
