Bio: Kelli Crabtree

Meet Kelli Crabtree

Hometown: Huntington, WV

Kelli was born and reared in Huntington, WV. She earned her B.A. in International Studies with an emphasis in Third World Development from West Virginia University and a Masters’ of Counseling Degree from Marshall University. Kelli is passionate about meeting people where they are and encouraging their discovery of their personal all-encompassing wellness. Kelli thrives in leading organizations and groups also in fulfilling this mission. Kelli started her work outside of D.C. in working with a transitional home for survivors of domestic abuse after graduating from WVU and then returned home to serve as Director of Disaster Services for the American Red Cross, then as a counselor in the crisis unit of Prestera, followed by Director of Crisis Services for the Prestera organization and most recently as Program Coordinator for a collaborative project between the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and WVU Extension Services aimed at reducing childhood obesity through partnership and training of child care providers and Head Start/PreK teachers.

Kelli serves as the President of the Board for CONTACT Rape Crisis and is involved with various ministries of her beloved church. She is the volunteer coordinator of the annual Rails & Ales Craft Beer Festival in Huntington.

Kelli is honored to be a wife to her husband, Blaine, and a mother to her two young daughters, Margaret Grace & Clara Joy.

Personal Hero: My parents who brought me up in the Church and were imperfect humans in which I credit all that I am to.

Most Interesting Place Ever Visited: All of the destinations of mission trips and family vacations fed my love for observing the uniqueness of culture and humanity.
