Baleigh “Bay” Epperly from Charleston, West Virginia, is Coalfield Development’s Associate Director of Creative Reuse. Bay graduated from Marshall University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. In her current role, she is passionate and driven about all things reuse and creative place making; from upcycling workshops to facilitating best strategies to divert waste from landfills in Appalachia to be reused, upcycled, and recycled. Bay spends her free time enjoying nature, working on art and photography, and being engaged in the local music and art scene of Huntington.
