This initiative creates curriculums to build a skilled energy workforce; helps small businesses, non-profits, and municipalities access capital and incentives for projects through the Appalachian Solar Finance Fund; and facilitates energy audits to identify opportunities for improved efficiency. By training local workers and supporting community partners, RePower Appalachia brings advanced energy opportunities and economic development to rural areas that have historically been left behind.
