Marilyn McClure-Demers is Vice President, Associate General Counsel at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, a Fortune 66 insurance and financial services company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. She holds a BA in political science from WVU and is a graduate of the West Virginia College of Law. Marilyn has been recognized for her efforts to promote diversity, equity, inclusion and justice in the legal profession, corporate America and in the communities she serves. A servant leader, Marilyn is a member of the board for the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, which was created by President Kennedy to eliminate Civil Rights violations in the United States and the Tiffany Circle National Council of the American Red cross, among others. A native West Virginian with ties to the Coal industry, Marilyn remains connected to advance the state and currently sits on the WVU Alumni Association Board and the College of Law visiting committee.
