Kelsey Mills from Huntington, WV is Coalfield Development’s Program Manager for Refresh Appalachia. She is a graduate of Marshall University, where she specialized in Natural Resources & Recreation Management. Before coming to Coalfield, Kelsey served with AmeriCorps in rural West Virginia, helping connect communities to their local history. Her passion for rooted, resilient places continues to guide her work in strengthening the Appalachian food system. Outside of her role as an advocate for farmers and food businesses, Kelsey is also an amateur photographer and avid fiber artist.
