The Foundation also operates the Workforce Unifiers program and plays an active role in recovery-to-work initiatives and substance use disorder prevention efforts, with a particular focus on strengthening coal-impacted communities to foster long-term, systemic change and greater prosperity for all West Virginians.

Elizabeth began her career with the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, focusing on government relations and member engagement before transitioning into her current role with the Foundation. Previously, she served as Senior Project Manager for a major Virginia-based commercial plumbing company, overseeing operations along the Eastern Seaboard. She also gained policy experience as an intern for U.S. Senator Joe Manchin.

Elizabeth will soon graduate with her MBA in Strategic Leadership from The Pennsylvania State University. She holds a B.A. in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Southern New Hampshire University. Born in Huntington and raised in Charleston, she has deep roots in West Virginia. After advancing her education in Kentucky, and building her career in Virginia and Washington, D.C., she returned home in 2017 to raise her family.
