Title: WRAPS Trainee – Revitalize (Construction)
Hourly or Salary: Hourly
Compensation: $9/hr 
Location: Hamlin, WV

WORKFORCE READINESS AND PROFESSIONAL SUCCESS (WRAPS) TRAINEE PROGRAM

This employment is as a WRAPS Trainee that is embedded within one of the Coalfield Development Corporation Social Enterprises: Revitalize, Refresh, SustainU, SawsEdge; or as a cohort with a community partner.
 
  • The employment length is 6-months and the workweek is 33 hours per week $9/hr.
  • Additionally, the Trainee will engage in at least 3 hours per week of personal development. 
  • This position is a blend of work via on-the-job training, education through trainings to earn certifications, and targeted goal setting and personal development.
  • Upon the 6-month completion of the WRAPS program, the Trainee will receive support in seeking their next employment.
 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to travel to Hamlin independently.
