POSITION SUMMARY

Our Social Enterprise – Mountain Mindful – is looking for an E-Commerce Coordinator to serve as a specialist for our online marketing and sales team. Our ideal applicant is organized enough to manage our online inventory and creative enough to help design social media campaigns to increase our digital sales. You will optimize our campaigns using marketing and SEO strategies and measure how much they increase web traffic by using analytics tools. While we prefer applicants who have a bachelor’s degree, it is more important that you have experience managing a digital store or inventory of products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help manage our online marketing presence, including on social media platforms
  • Assist with forming our Social Enterprise’s overall digital marketing strategy
  • Develop campaigns to increase digital sales utilizing paid advertising, using SEO, and other tools
  • Develop product descriptions and images to support our Direct-to-Consumer sales strategy
  • Manage our online inventory
  • Monitor changes in website traffic or increases in sales
  • Prepare analytics reports for campaigns and strategies

Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with multiple projects, locations, businesses and collaborative partners.
  • Kind and professional demeanor and attitude. Must be patient and compassionate with people and issues encountered in challenging socio-economic environments. Must understand and adopt Coalfield’s theory of change and value system.
  • A willingness to learn, an ability to problem-solve and work independently are crucial.
  • Proficient with computers, email, Microsoft Office, AirTable, Google applications and standard office equipment (phone, copier/printer, scanners, etc.).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing (preferred)
  • Experience managing digital product inventory (Shopify preferred)
  • Experience using web analytics and optimization tools
  • Communication skills

WORK LOCATION, NORMAL WORKING HOURS, AND PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT

Coalfield’s offices are currently located in Wayne, Morgantown, Huntington, and Charleston, WV. The chosen candidate must have reliable transportation to regularly attend work at the Huntington production location and other locations, as required.

  • Extensive computer operation.
  • Light lifting (up to 25 LBS with or without accommodation).
  • Must be able to drive and work seated or standing at a desk and/or computer.
  • The normal work week is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Coalfield allows managers and employees to negotiate a flexible work schedule. Uncompensated overtime is infrequently required when necessary to meet critical deadlines or respond to emergencies.

TRAVEL AND TRANSPORTATION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must provide reliable transportation to their primary work location. Coalfield has a limited fleet of vehicles and frequently carpools to minimize travel burdens on employees. Travel expenses (excluding commutes) may be reimbursed per Coalfield’s policies and procedures.
