Join this session to learn about the technical assistance and capacity-building grants available at the Center.\nTime: 8:00 AM – 9:20 AM \n  \nSession 2 – Navigating Federal Resources Panel\nDescription: Discover how federal programs such as Natural Resource Conservation Service and other agencies can support farmers\, ranchers\, and rural communities. Learn about funding opportunities\, conservation programs\, technical assistance\, and tools to boost sustainability\, productivity\, and economic growth for food and farm businesses. Hear from producers who have applied and implemented these services and funding streams.\nTime: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM \n  \nSession 3 – Navigating State Resources Panel\nDescription: Discover how state programs and resources from The West Virginia Department of Agriculture\, WV Farmers Market Association\, WV Food and Farm Coalition\, and other agencies can support farmers\, ranchers\, and rural communities. Learn about funding opportunities\, conservation programs\, technical assistance\, and tools to boost sustainability\, productivity\, and economic growth for food and farm businesses. Hear from producers who have applied and implemented these services and funding streams.\nTime: 1:15 PM – 2:45 PM \n  \nSession 4 – Navigating Local Resources Panel & Mapping Your Resource Plan\nDescription: Discover how to navigate local resources and learn strategic tips for how to map out a resource plan. Learn from local experts about funding opportunities\, technical assistance\, and tools to boost sustainability\, productivity\, and economic growth for food and farm businesses. Hear from producers who have applied and implemented these services and funding streams.\nTime: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM \n* Refresh Appalachia’s workshop is a free resource. The $35 registration fee for the WV Small Farms Conference will be applied towards the venue\, meals\, and/or refreshments provided during the training.
